He was predeceased by: his parents, Kazimierz Czepiel (Casimir) and Pauline Czepiel (Szumisz); and his siblings, Henry, John Czepiel of Florence and Stella Smiezek (Czepiel) of Bordentown.
He is survived by: his former wife Joan Czepiel (Koerz); his daughters, Diane Ritter (David) and Barbara Smith (William); his grandchildren, William Smith Jr. (Dan), Jennifer Smith (Stephanie), Karl Snyder (Sarah), Jacob Austerman (Amanda) and Paul Dodson (John Ritter); his sister-in-law Elizabeth (Joseph Kawecki); and his great grandchildren, Connor, Daniel, McKenzie, Teagan, Liam, Natalie, Luke, Evelyn, Aaron, Oliver, Zephyr, Henry and Erick. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; as well as several great nieces and great nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Saul Colonial Home (3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Township, NJ 08690). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Hedwig Roman Catholic Church (872 Brunswick Ave, Trenton, NJ 08638).
