She was predeceased by: her father Raymond Landis; her husband William H. Van Kirk; and her sisters, Catherine Landis McDonald and Audrey Landis Kazimorvic. She is survived by: her daughters, Rae D. Hodge (Charles Scott) of Hamilton, NJ and Cindy L. Van Kirk (Lawrenceville); her granddaughters, Melissa Hodge (Sarah) and Leah Hodge; her great grandchildren, Austin and Claire Hodge; her niece Kimberly Landis Conway; and her siblings-in-law, Thomas McDonald, Harry Van Kirk (Marilyn), Betty Jane Sheperd (Thomas) and Leone Chambers. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
