He was predeceased by: his parents, Selda Lavine and Louis Lavine; and his children, Andrew Lavine and Gabrielle Lavine. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Berkman Lavine; his daughter Sarah Pankiewicz (Nick); his grandchildren, Greyson and Ellen Lavine; his stepsons, Josh Berkman (Robin) and Eric Berkman (Brett); and his stepgrandchildren, Ethan, Sofia, Max and Rebecca Berkman.
A funeral service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Orland's Ewing Memorial Chapel (1534 Pennington Rd, Ewing Township, NJ 08618).
