He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine Thul and Leo Thul; and his sisters, Jane and Suzanne Thul. He is survived by: his wife Betty; his children, Carl, Jeffrey (Sunshine), Christine, Stephen (Bernadette), Jennifer and Elizabeth; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Sarah, Karley, Sheehan Twomey, Paige, Jennifer Thul, Christopher Thul and Katie Stephens (Cole); and his siblings, Leo Thomas Thul (Suzanne) and Dorothy McLaughlin (James).
