She was predeceased by: her parents, Roosevelt Taylor and Gloria Taylor; and her brother Glynn Taylor. She is survived by: her brother Roosevelt Taylor Jr.; and her sister-in-law Rebecca Taylor. She is also survived by cousins and dear friends.

A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at the Fernwood Cemetery (6500 Baltimore Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19143).
She later served as Associate Director of the New Jersey State Library Information Center, where she specialized in U.S. government documents and the Foundation Collection.
