He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellsworth Schug and Ernestine Schug. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Balchunas Schug; his daughters, Susan Mendes (Antonio) of Arizona and Karen Kloo (Kenneth) of Toms River; and his grandchildren, Caroline Cateil, Olivia Mendes, Alex Kloo and Adam Kloo.
