With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William A. Volkert (Laurence Harbor, New Jersey), born in Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on August 30, 2021 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Sr. Volkert and Catherine Volkert; and his siblings, Herbert Volkert Jr., Richard Volkert, Edna Burlew, Norma Wallis and Victor Volkert.
He is survived by: his children, William Arthur Volkert Jr. (Susan) and Susan Jane Volkert Dinneny (John Jr); his grandchildren, Ashley Volkert Nocon, Emily Volkert Robinson, Hillary Volkert Torreso, John Dinneny III, Mallory Dinneny, William Dinneny and Daniel Dinneny; his great grandchildren, Anabelle, Noah, Madelyn, Sydney, Hunter and Carson; and his siblings, Doris Holden and Robert Volkert. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
