He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Burr" Tye and Dorotha Tye (Nicewood). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Tye (Gallagher); his sons, Brian Tye (Leah) of Jackson and Kevin Tye (Elizabeth) of Bayville; his brother Earl Tye (Bethy) of Central Point; and his grandchildren, Brendan, Andrew, Emily and Alexa.
