She was loved and cherished by many people including: her grandparents, Rena and Leroy Garvey; her children, William Messing, Elizabeth Pierce and Diana White; her daughter-in-law Jennifer Stim; her siblings, Eddy Woody, Dorothy Harvey, Frank Downs, Donald Downs and Jean Marie Downs; her husband Henry Pierce Jr.; her daughter Lora Lynn Ramsey; and her siblings, Rena Starr, Robert Woody, Willard "Charles" Woody and James Woody. She was also cherished by 5 grandchildren.
