She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Whilden; her son Charles Whilden; her grandson Jay Whilden; and her brother Dale Murphy. She is survived by: her children, Cathy Whilden and Harry Whilden (Kim Harris); her stepson Mitchell T. Gandy (Jennifer Lee); her grandchildren, Rose Whilden (Jason Devries), Jack Whilden, Kimberly Whilden (Steven Watson), Justin Linden, Ashley McCabe, Brad Whilden, Sharon Garwood and Charles Whilden, Jr.; and her siblings, Jerry Murphy, Jack Murphy (Kathy), Doug Murphy, Roger Murphy, Glenda Sue Tozer, Peggy Murphy and Brenda Reign (Butch). She is also survived by 18 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
