It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Distefano (Lanoka Harbor, New Jersey), born in Fairview, New Jersey, who passed away on August 17, 2018, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband John; and her sister Jennie Scrivanich. She is survived by: her children, Jennie Elwood (Frank), Abby Fernandes (Mark) and Carolyn Ziegler (Glenn); her grandchildren, Jeanine Arce, Gregg Arce, Jessica Bauer and Lindsay Termini; her husband Mike; her great grandchild Gianna Termini; her siblings, John Castaldo, Rose Pellerano, Gloria Piccinich, Virginia Frank and Nick Castaldo; and also, Mark Fernandes, Kate Fernandes, Denise Ziegler and Daniel Ziegler.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting any donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
