She was predeceased by: her husband William Smith; her parents, Mary Frangos and Stephen Frangos; and her sisters, Jeanne Nicoholson, Nettie Meola and Bessie Frangos.
She is survived by: her siblings, Christina Hobby and Peter Frangos; her children, Valerie Alvarez, Luis Alvarez, Eileen Smith and Stephen Smith; her grandchildren, Dana Smith (Mariana Lima), Melissa Smith, Nicole Fusco (Joe Fusco), William Smith (Kristen Smith), Alexandra Alvarez and Michael Alvarez; and her great grandchildren, Ethan Lynch, Joshua Lynch and Greyson Fusco. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Kathleen, GA, formerly of Landing, NJ Mrs. Sophie Smith 93, beloved wife, mother and grandmother died on February 19, 2018 after a heroic battle with Alzheimer's.
