With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rudolph J. Thurnes of Landing, New Jersey, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on September 16, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Thurnes and Maria Thurnes (Farrenkopf); and his wife Marie. He is survived by: his children, Glenn Thurnes (Donna) and Renee DeLuca (Michael); and his grandchildren, Nicole Stafford (Sean), Loren DeLuca, Ryan Thurnes (Adora) and Brad Thurnes (Hannah).
