He is survived by: his children, Keith Roughgarden, Kristi Austin and Joe DeGise; his children-in-law, Christine Roughgarden, Elizabeth DeGise and Charles Austin; his grandchildren, Rachel Roughgarden, Kelly Roughgarden, Missy Meehan (Daniel) and Kevin Roughgarden; and his sister Connie Wiitz.
