He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert J. Rapp and Mildred Phyllis Rapp. He is survived by: his wife Elise Braun Rapp of Landing, NJ; his children, James R. Rapp (Marissa) of Belvidere, NJ, Cristin Marie Rose (John) of Flemington, NJ and Melissa Stashluk (David) of Tennessee; and his grandchildren, Quinn, Matilda and Penelope.
