He was predeceased by: his parents, James Barnes and Edna Barnes (Dansbury); his son Kenneth; his siblings, Tim, Irene, Walt and Ralph Barnes; and his siblings-in-law, Patrice Scott, Robert, Michael, Louis and John Stelle.
He is survived by: his son Brian Barnes; his wife Barbara E. Barnes (Stelle); his children, Harry Barnes, Jr., Donna (David German), James Barnes (Maria) and Alan Barnes; his grandchildren, Courtney (Adam Spundarelli), Samantha Barnes, Jamie Barnes, Michael German (Allison), David German, Chris Barnes (Melissa), Gina (Jeff Bourne), Jordan Barnes (Kelly), Kenny Barnes, Ashley Barnes (Dalton Trembow), Alesha Parker (Adam Parker), Alan Barnes, Jr. and Brian Barnes; his great grandchildren, Max, Nile, Scarlet, James, Emma, Skylar, Dylan, Dean, Mason, Reese, Emily, Everly, Sean and Tyler; his brother Fred Barnes; and his siblings-in-law, Charles Stelle, Bob Scott, Penny (Robert DiBenedetti), Diane Burmeister and Alva Stelle. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
