She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Wirges and Joan Norbutt Wirges. She is survived by: her pets, Chinese Shar and Ellen; her husband Robert Somogyi; her sons, Justin (Kelly), Jesse and Julian (Erin); her siblings, Scott Wirges, Caryle Barnish, Susie Wirges, Michael Wirges and Cathy Wirges; and her grandchildren, Maxwell, Mia, Grayson, Connor Shane and Violet.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Bucks County SPCA, 1665 Street Rd., Lahaska, Pa 18938.

“Bob and family, I was beyond sad when I learned of Ellen’s passing! We had lost touch over the years but shared SO many fun times together in the past. I only recently came across a photo taken in NYC at Puglias ( Bob will remember the taxi, train ride, red wine , white buck), Fond memories shared playing Pinochle at the Yardley house and boating in the Poconos. She had a heart of gold, told it like it was and was MOST proud of her boys. My deepest condolences Beth Strauss Einstein”
