He was predeceased by: his parents, George Taggart and Margaret Taggart (Henry); and his half-brother Eugene Taggart. He is survived by: his children, Deborah (Richard Garone) of Delaware, William (Paula Taggart) of South Amboy, NJ, Stephen (Cheryl Taggart) of Deland, FL, LoriAnn Gibson and Rich Menzel of Brick, NJ; his sister Ruth Oehm (Ray) of Oceanside, CA; his grandchildren, Samantha, Benjamin, Jacqueline, Cassandra, Christopher, Rebecca, Nicole, Stephen, Jr., Tristan and Laissa; and his great grandchildren, Clare and Madison. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
