He was predeceased by: his parents, David Hamill and Ellen Hamill; and his brothers, David, Henry and Jack.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his children, Thomas (Christina), John (Deirdre) and Diane Silvia (Kenneth); his grandchildren, Thomas (Jeanine), Kenneth (Ashley), Christopher (Kimberly), Timothy, Michael (Laura), Caitlin Melendez (Michael) and Alyssa Greif (Luke); and his siblings-in-law, Florence, Nancy, Bernice Johnson, Adele Frangenberg (Peter), Mary Donovan, Marcie Power and Maurice Powers (Anne). He is also survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
