He was predeceased by: his parents, James Daniels and Dolores Daniels; and his stepdaughter Tara Suler. He is survived by: his wife Theresa Hertler; his sister Patricia Sheafer (Henry); his nephews, Scott Sheafer (Janine) and Brian Sheafer (Lisa); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Christina, Justin Sheafer, Mila and Maddox Sheafer; his siblings-in-law, Frank Hertler, Rick Hertler, Lou Hertler and Deb Hertler; his stepson Chris Malanga (Stephanie); and his stepgrandchildren, Cole Suler, Christopher and Jaxson Malanga.

Visitation was held on Saturday, September 21st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the O'Brien Funeral Home - Wall (2028 NJ-35, Wall Township, NJ 07719). The military honors was held on Saturday, September 21st 2024 at 5:30 PM at the O'Brien Funeral Home (2028 NJ-35, Wall Township, NJ 07719).
