He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Sferlazza and Concetta Sferlazza (Gurrieri); and his siblings, Louis Sferlazza and Francine Sferlazza. He is survived by: his wife Frances Sferlazza (Rizza); his daughters, Andrea Sferlazza and Dawne Persamanos (Steven Persamanos); and his granddaughter Sabrina Serani (Ian Boland).
