Michael J. Prendergast Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael J. Prendergast of Lakewood, New Jersey, who passed away on March 19, 2022 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Prendergast and Doris Prendergast (Berneburg); and his brother U. S. Army Specialist. He is survived by: his brothers, Thomas and Ed; his significant other Maureen Prendergast (Moran); his daughters, Kim-Marie Farruggia and Theresa Lutz; his son-in-law Trooper Dennis Lutz Jr.; his grandchildren, Thomas Farruggia, Ryan Farruggia, Aiden Lutz, Matthew Lutz, Joseph Lutz and Cameron Lutz; his great grandchild Jessica Nosal; his sister-in-law Patricia Hatter; his nephews, Daniel Hatter and David Hatter; and his great-nieces, Amber, Cassidy, Kristina and Corinna.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Mike's name to the American Parkinson's Disease Association, the American Heart Association or his favorite foundation, St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
