We are sad to announce that on November 17, 2024, at the age of 92, Mary Catherine Dillon of Lakewood, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Stephen Dillon; and her sisters, Joan Reilly (Dave) and Patricia Hoffman. She is survived by: her children, John Dillon (Jennifer) of Riverdale, NY, Dr. Stephen Dillon (Philip Maguire) of New York, NY, Maureen Dooley (Bill) of Spring Lake, NJ, Cathy Folan (Pat) of Downingtown, PA and Dorothy Bosley (John) of New City, NY; her sister Peggy Stefano of Garden City, NY; her grandchildren, David Dillon, Will Dooley (Katie), Meg Sutherland (Ian), Chris Hennessy (Meagan), Colleen Folan, Joe Hennessy (Mairead), Mary Kate Fitzpatrick (Sean), Patrick Dooley, Patrick Folan and Stephen Dillon; her great grandchildren, Maeve, Johnny, Charlie Sutherland, Willow, Quinn Hennessy, Teddy, Matty Dooley and Shea Fitzpatrick; and her sister-in-law Eileen Glynn of Jupiter, FL.. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the O'Brien Funeral Home - Wall (2028 NJ-35, Wall Township, NJ 07719). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Catharine's Church (215 Essex Ave, Spring Lake, NJ 07762).
Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers can be made in her honor to the Visitation Church St. Vincent DePaul Society or to your local St. Vincent DePaul Society.
