It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leona Nikorak of Lakewood, New Jersey, who passed away on November 19, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Michael Nikorak; her son Steven; her parents, John Kovacs and Bertha Kovacs; and her nephew Dave.
She is survived by: her son Gary (Marlene); her grandchildren, Leah, Steven (Jessica) and Zachary (Kate); her great grandchild Emma; her grandson Michael (Jessica); her sister Rose; and her niece Laura.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mastapeter Funeral Home (400 Faitoute Ave, Roselle Park, NJ 07204). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 9:00 AM and at 10:30 AM at the St. Theresa R. C. Church (541 Washington Ave, Kenilworth, NJ 07033). A burial will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at the Hollywood Memorial Park (1500 Stuyvesant Ave., Union, NJ 07083).
