He is survived by: his wife Karen Patterson; his children, Robert Patterson (Erin) and Katie Patterson; his siblings, Howard Patterson (Pat) and Barbara Emkin; his sister-in-law Teresa Patterson; and his grandsons, Ethan and Carter Patterson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
