With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James E. Byrnes of Lakewood, New Jersey, born in Jersey City, New Jersey, who passed away on January 27, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brothers, William Byrnes and Donald Byrnes. He is survived by: his wife Jean Anne Byrnes (Lannon); his children, Jean McDermott (Jerry), James (Debra), Terence (Louise) and Mary Beth Stehle (Michael); his grandchildren, Erin, Shea, Kelly, Michael, Jimmy, Raegan, Bridget, Catherine, Terence and Meghan; and his siblings, Peggy Anne Overton and Jack Byrnes. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
