He was predeceased by: his parents, John Scanlon and Ethel Scanlon (Talbot); and his brother John Patrick Scanlon. He is survived by: his children, Christopher Scanlon of Hazlet and Kathryn Scanlon of Caldwell; the mother of his children Karen Scanlon; his sister-in-law Regina Scanlon; and his granddaughter Abigail Scanlon. He is also survived by his four nieces and nephews, and many other extended family and friends.
