He was predeceased by: his parents, Samual Strong and Vada Strong; his sons, Charles Jr. and Brian Strong; his siblings, Paul, Sam, Thomas Strong and Pauline Baer; and his stepfather George Spangle.
He is survived by: his wife Anna M. Strong; his granddaughter Cheyenne Strong (Cole); and his great grandchild Lily Strong. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
