He is survived by: his wife Gale Beels Carthage; his sons, Michael Carthage of Walnut Creek, CA and Bob Carthage (Lee); his grandchildren, Brent of Marvin, NC. and Ava of Marvin, NC.; and his siblings, Philip G. Carthage (Mary) of Belfast and Patricia L. Carthage of Lake Hopatcong.
