He was predeceased by: his father Warren A. Hansen. He is survived by: his wife Wendy A. Hansen; his children, Cole M. Hansen and Chayse E. Hansen; his mother Maud "Rusty" Hansen; and his siblings, John (Mary Hansen), Chris Hansen, Kim Hansen-Mitchell (Blair), Donna (Jarl Christensen) and Tracy (Brent Whitener). He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hansen Family College Fund C/O Wendy Hansen sent to the Smith-Taylor-Ruggiero Funeral Home.
