He was predeceased by: his wife Loretta; and his children, Leo Picconi and Diane Picconi. He is survived by: his children, Samuel A. Picconi, Jr (Susan), Robert L. Picconi (Elizabeth), Joann Borgers and Cathy Hardenburg (Curtis). He is also survived by nine grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.
