With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Bernadette Murphy (Lake Hiawatha, New Jersey), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 10, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Agnes (Connors) and Joseph V. Murphy; her siblings, Dorothy Soley, Rita Feeney and Father Joseph Murphy; and her siblings-in-law, Marie Murphy, Joseph Valvano, Jack Soley and Thomas Feeney.
She is survived by: her siblings, Kathleen Murphy, Eleanor Valvano, Joan Davie and John Murphy; and her brother-in-law William Davie. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews and a great grandniece and great grandnephew.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Sister Mary Bernadette Murphy to the Sisters of Charity Office of Legacy and Mission Advancement, P O Box 476, Convent Station, NJ, 07961, would be appreciated.
