We are sad to announce that on January 12, 2022, Freda Sakas of Lake Hiawatha, New Jersey, born in Somersworth, New Hampshire passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Harry J. Sakas; her son Dan Sakas; her grandson Matthew Sakas; and her siblings, James Koufos, Mary Pappey and Ted Koufos.

She is survived by: her children, Chris Sakas, Alexandra "Sandy" Hefferon (John) and Pamela Kelly; her grandchildren, Anthony Kelly, Nicole Sakas, Jessica Sakas (Kristian), Melanie Sakas, Michael Hefferon (Kristen), Aphrodite Kelly, Christina Thurm (Michael) and Lindsay Gornall (Christopher); and her great grandchildren, Gavin, Alexia, Mikeala, Devon and Charles.

In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in her memory to: Saint Andrew Greek Orthodox Church, 1447 Sussex Turnpike, Randolph NJ 07869.
