She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerry Mottese and Josephine Mottese; her husband Joseph Zaccaria; and her siblings, Eugene Mottese and Jean Zales.

She is survived by: her children, Joann Montroni (David Montroni), Robert Zaccaria (Carleen Kelly), Carol Smith (Dave Smith) and James Zaccaria (Kathleen Zaccaria); her grandchildren, Maria Montroni-Currais (Daniel Currais), Joseph Zaccaria (Alyson Zaccaria), Daniel Zaccaria (Lindsay Zaccaria), DJ Montroni and Kelly Zaccaria; her great grandchildren, Ava Currais, Brynn Zaccaria, Scarlett Zaccaria, Cecilia Zaccaria and Rose Zaccaria; her sister Gloria Haller; and her family, Joseph and Forked River.

Viewing was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Layton's Home For Funerals (250 Lacey Rd, Forked River, NJ 08731). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Church of Saint Pius X (300 Lacey Rd, Forked River, NJ 08731). An entombment was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Saint Joseph's Cemetery (56 Cedar Grove Rd, Toms River, NJ 08753).
