He was predeceased by: his parents, Karl Mund and Frieda Mund; and his sisters, Mary Lou Imp and Elfriede Hershey. He is survived by: his wife Carol; and his sons, Charles Mund Jr. and Eric Mund.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Morrison Etheridge Funeral Home, Inc. (86 Bartholdi Ave, Butler, NJ 07405). A burial was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery (184 Pleasant Grove Rd, Ithaca, NY 14850).
Furthermore, he founded the New Jersey Restaurant Educational Foundation, demonstrating his commitment to supporting the next generation in the hospitality field.
