He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth William and Elizabeth Marie Shennard (Bentley). He is survived by: his wife Patti Kay Shennard (Bleacher); his son Dennis Bruce; his daughter-in-law Louise Shennard II; his grandchildren, Mickey M. and Joe Shennard; and his brother Howard Breese (Pete). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
