He was predeceased by: his father Frank Dorsi; his sisters, Patricia Trenét and Diane Dorsi; his parents-in-law, Gerald and Catherine Katcher; his siblings-in-law, Eileen Katcher and Alan Katcher; and his pet Peppy.

He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his children, John Michael Dorsi (Jeena Sheppard) of Mount Holly, Jenna Dorsi of Middletown and Darlene Borodunovich (Kyle Joseph) of Browns Mills; his granddaughters, Jane and Josephine Dorsi; his mother Corrine Dorsi; his siblings, Frank Dorsi (Larry Halpern), Gary Dorsi (Donna), Richard Dorsi (Angela) and Cherie Quinn (John); and his brothers-in-law, Kenneth (Ilene Katcher) and Dave Pierce. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
