He is survived by: his wife Paula Cunningham; his son Todd Cunningham of Las Vegas, NV; his brother-in-law Cliff Cummins; his grandchildren, Eliza, Abbey, Emmie Jane, Nick and Connor; his cousins, Denise, Valerie and Dennis; his nephew Jimmy; and his niece Kristen of Maryland.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the World Wildlife Fund Rest in peace Joel.
