He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathaniel Jeffcoat and Mattie Jeffcoat (Gibbs); and his siblings, Nathaniel Jeffcoat, Melvin Jeffcoat, Rosevelt Jeffcoat, Annie Ruth "Mae" Jeffcoat, Lucy Rivera and Shirley Woodley.
He is survived by: his wife Mildred Jeffcoat (Dixon); his children, James W. Jeffcoat Jr. of Frisco, Jeffrey A. Jeffcoat (Elle) of Ferris, John K. Jeffcoat of Keyport, Margaret L. Rogers (Dwight) of Freehold, Dr. Jerome Jeffcoat (Dameca) of Phoenix and Jerold M. Jeffcoat (Krystal); and his siblings, Mattie Ross (Norman), Jonathan Jeffcoat (Arlene) of Delaware, Matthew Jeffcoat of Delaware and Esau Canty of Pennsylvania. He is also survived by twenty two grandchildren and his adoring five great grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, donations in loving memory of James to the "Charity of Your Choice" would be greatly appreciated.
