He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Hazel I. Atkins (Thomas) and James H. Atkins Sr.; his significant other June Atkins (Miller); his sons, James H. (Melissa Atkins III) and David R. (Deana Atkins); his grandchildren, Karolann, Michael Bourret (Atkins), Terre (Amber Atkins) and James H. (Elizabeth Atkins IV); and his great grandchildren, Phoenix and Penelope Bourret.
