He was predeceased by: his parents, James S. Carr and Ethel Carr (Ressler); and his wife Margaret G. Carr. He is survived by: his children, Thomas J. Carr Sr. (Roseland) of Manchester, William A. Carr (Louann) of Old Bridge, Lisa A. Carr of Keyport, Tammy E. Powers (John) of Aberdeen, James H. Carr Jr. of Keyport and Joseph E. Carr (Eileen) of Hazlet; his grandchildren, Thomas J. Carr Jr., Tara L. Hannon (Jimmy), Nicole B. Carr (Erin), Daniel W. Carr (Dara), Catherine A. Powers, Joseph T. Powers, Erin R. Powers, Sean P. Carr and Marianne M. Carr; and his great grandchildren, Emily, Riley, Brandon, Christiana, Greyson, Christopher and Hannah.
