It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ethel Melton (Keyport, New Jersey), who passed away on February 19, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Frank Simmons; her husband Leroy Melton; and her siblings, Leroy Simmons, Judson Simmons, Martha Chandler (Simmons) and Louise Warren (Simmons).
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Decker (Howard) of Milledgeville, GA and Mary Madeo of Whiting, NJ; her grandchildren, Rodney Decker of Henderson, NC, Everett Decker of East Orange, NJ, Earl Barnes of Morganville, NJ, Angel Hall (Shaun) of Linden, NJ and Anthony Malena of Newark, NJ; and her cousin Vernel Adams of Plainfield, NJ. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
