She is survived by: her daughters, Pamela Konish (Robert) of Freehold and Michele Pappas of Ashburn, Virginia; her granddaughters, Vanessa Kulpinski (Scott), Kendra Jones (Christopher) and Elizabeth McQueen; her great grandchildren, Laine and Kade Kulpinski; and her sister-in-law Dorothy DiGiambattisti of Keyport. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

“Much love to Pam, Vanessa and Kendra. Boots misses her so much and we remember her in such loving ways. She loved Betty so very much and I remember her voice as we walked together discussing that love and concern. She was so proud of Vanessa and Kendra and mentioned that to me as well. Little town New Jersey lost a dear family member who will never be forgotten. She was a second mother to Boots and her siblings. Her strong nature was to be admired. Love always, Mel.”
