He is survived by: the fathers of children, Thomas Gilligan, Jr. of Kenilworth, Michael Gilligan (Pam) of Watchung, Bob Gilligan (Diane) of Kenilworth and Kevin Gilligan (Nancy) of Kenilworth; his daughter Cindy Pitchford (Barry) of Clark; his grandchildren, Adam, Natalie, Valerie, Joey, Bonnie, Joe, Danny, Tara, Jason, Nicole, Brian, Stacey, Meghan, Sean, Joseph, Timothy, McKenzie, John and Ally; and his great grandchildren, Sonia, Ben, Kathryn, Isabella, London, Autumn and Kane.
