He was predeceased by: his parents, George Martin and Gladys Martin. He is survived by: his wife Mary Martin; his children, George Martin, Caitlin Dukielski (Michael) and Brian Martin (Megan); his grandchildren, Dax Martin and Josephine Dukielski; and his siblings, Irela Morris (Steve) and Marcos Martin (Myra). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Higgins and Bonner Echo Lake Funeral Home (582 Springfield Ave, Westfield, NJ 07090). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Theresa's RC Church (541 Washington Ave, Kenilworth, NJ 07033). A burial was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at the St. Gertrude Cemetery (53 Inman Ave, Colonia, NJ 07067).

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his memory to The American Cancer Society.
