He was predeceased by: his parents, Rose Vitale and Sam Paul; and his brother Paul Vitale. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Vitale (Folk) of Springfield; his son Ernest J. Vitale; his daughter-in-law Clare Vitale; his daughter Claudine Tantillo; his son-in-law Ron Tantillo; his grandchild Sandy Skwarek; his son-in-law Gary Skwarek; and his grandchildren, Cory, Danny, Melissa, Tommy, Olivia, Jessica and Alex.
