He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Gaissert and Louise Gaissert (Frey); his former wife Eileen Gaissert; his son Gregory Gaissert; and his nephew Alfred Gaissert, Jr..
He is survived by: his granddaughter Gina Gaissert; his brother Alfred Gaissert Sr.; his nieces and nephews, Gail Schmitt (Gaissert), Lynn Gaissert, Stephen Gaissert and Kenneth Gaissert; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Lyndi Schmitt, Stephanie Gaissert, Mary Lou Gaissert, Aimee Gaissert, Isabella Gaissert, Ava Maconi, Benjamin Gaissert, Erik Schmitt, Lucas Gaissert and Oliver Yolinsky.
