It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steven J. Silva of Kearny, New Jersey, born in Belleville, New Jersey, who passed away on February 16, 2023, at the age of 48, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ezequiel Silva and Maria Silva; his spouse Carina Ferreira Silva; his children, Camilla Belle Silva and Jae Emmanuel Silva; his siblings, Kristin Silva (Ian S.) and Blenis; his nieces and nephews, Sidney Violet and Miles; his parents-in-law, Antonio Costa and Maria Do Carmo Rolo; his siblings-in-law, Antonio and Sandra Costa; his nieces and nephews, Lara, Milena Costa and Paulo Machado; his great-nephew Alexandre; and his great-niece Lara.

In remembrance of Steven's life, the family asks that any charitable donations be made to the educational fund being established for his two children, Jae and Camilla.
