He was predeceased by: his nephew Victor Alex Villalta. He is survived by: his parents, Stanley and Mary Shimkus, Jr.; his sister Laura Martone (Dave); his nieces and nephews, Ryan Villalta (Heather) and Nancy Godzwon (Andrew); his great-nephew Ryan James Villalta; and his uncle George Monahan (Barbara).
