It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael J. Vitale Sr. of Kearny, New Jersey, born in Hoboken, New Jersey, who passed away on January 25, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brother Billy Vitale (Denise); and his parents, Philomena Vitale and Raphael Vitale. He is survived by: his significant other Carolyn Vitale; his children, Nancy, Glenn (Joann) and Michael Jr. (Susana); his grandchildren, Anthony, Victoria, Jason, Nico, Alexis, Evan and Tyler; his siblings, Joseph Vitale (Michele), Ray-Ray Vitale and Matthew Cannarozzi; and his siblings-in-law, Michelina Meola (late Ralph Meola), Marie and Joe Klimakowski. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, friends.
In lieu of flowers, Michael's family requests donations be made in his memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital to the gift fund set up in his name.
